We will plan all the menus, discuss how to shop, learn table setting, prepare and cook the meal, learn table etiquette, and clean up.
Whether your child is a beginner, or experienced, we have something for them. And ask about our classes and get togethers for adults!
Children will learn to use everything in the kitchen. Due to counter height we prefer the child to be at least 8 years old. We take your child's safety and comfort seriously. Child must be tall enough to reach the stove and other items on the counter easily.
Our cooking classes are not only educational, but also fun and social.Your child will meet and learn to prepare and cook with others their age.
We not only have children's classes, we offer fun events for adults from menu and meal planning and cooking, to simply desserts or even hors d'oeuvres and wine pairing! Want a fun night out with your significant other, fun birthday party with your friends, or even a bridal or baby shower fun event? Shirley will be glad to go over the endless possibilities.

One extra class will be a Thanksgiving dinner — whole chicken (Turkey will take too long) homemade mashed potatoes and gravy—homemade string beans not string Bean Casserole. No desserts as this can be something others can bring.
This class will be one hour longer (4 hours) and will cost $10.00 more.
We will learn to use a knife the proper way, knife skills, and the names of kitchen items. We will learn to set a proper table, as well as table conversation. We will learn to clean up, and how to shop the park item of the store. How and when to buy on sale — is Costco really cheaper on everything?
The students will taste as we go (plastic spoons are provided for tasting and pitching in the trash after each taste). We vote on a dish to make sure about the salt and pepper and herbs are blended well. We will taste the fresh herbs in my garden and then taste the same herb that is dried. We will learn what herbs go with what foods.
